Energy Day of Action

We are trying to get the second Green Flag for our school and the theme this time is Energy. On Friday we had a Day of Action, where-by we were highlighting the theme of Energy all day. We tried to use as little electricity as possible (all the lights were off); we did a survey on the types of energy used to heat our homes and we made up experiments to demonstrate the differnet types of energy. Then we brought these experiments into Miss McGowan's class and carried them out with the younger children.
