Girls through to football final

Well done to the girls' gaelic football team who are through to the final of the Cumann na mBunscol gaelic football league. They will play in Breffni Park on Monday 13th June. Come on girls!

SpikeBall

We were invited to Loreto on Monday to play a SpikeBall blitz. Team "Bob" from 6th class took first place. Here's a clip from the game.

Windows Poetry Competition

Congratulations to the three pupils in our class who have been awarded certificates  for their poems in the Cavan Windows Poetry Competition

Other certificate winners from the school were Anthony, Jakob,Illia, Robert and Emma. Eimear Kennedy won 3rd prize in the Irish poetry Competition.(All from Ms Kennedy's room)

 They will be receiving their prizes this Thursday 19th May in the Cavan Crystal Hotel at 8pm.

Discover Science Award



Congratulations to everyone in the class on receiving the Discover Primary Science and Maths Award for 2011. Well done to everyone for all the work on Science during the year and thanks also to the other classes who contributed to the award.
