Well done to Meabh, Ciara, Orla, Padraig, Aisling, Enya and Rachael who all won prizes at the Cavn Fleadh in Kilnaleck last weekend. Meabh plays the banjo and mandolin; Ciara plays the banjo, mandolin and fiddle; Orla plays the guitar, Padraig plays the bodhran and Aisling, Enya and Rachael do Irish dancing. They are all through to the Ulster Fleadh in Derry in July.If they are successful in Derry, they will get through to the All-Ireland Fleadh in Cavan in August. Best of luck everyone! Aisling burns danced with enya and rachael aswell
Enya played the Flute at the Fleadh and her Band and Groupa Ceol won First place. She also plays the mandolin and whistle.
Hiya Ms.White!! =] Enya and I got through in our set(Wexford Set) and the 8-hand (Cross Reel)! We didn't get through in the 4-hand though=( Now we're in the All-Ireland! Woohoo!! Good luck to the musicians on July 22. Hope you all do well.

We're dancing at the Sports Complex on the 19th of August in the big hall. I don't know what time though. I'll find out. Why? Are you going to come Mrs.White?? =]

How did you get on in the competition girls? I would love to have gone, but I had visitors coming for the Fleadh and had to stay at home. Did anyone else get through to the All-Irelands?
We didn't get placed Ms. White=( But it was 12-15 and the competition was really stiff. BTW I love Loreto! We all do. Enya, Carla, Sarah and I are all in the same class!;^)
Delighted to hear you love Loreto and that so many of you are in the one class. Don't forget about the others though! Everyone needs to see a familiar face from time to time! We are all back to work here in Killygarry and it's not the same without you all. I hope everyone is getting on well in St Pat's, Royal School and Breffni College, as well as Loreto.
